This is a wonderfully entertaining read, full of exciting action, relatable characters, laugh out loud humor & inside innuendo. Timothy Price has an amazing way of weaving together a unique variety of what would seem to be unrelated subjects & makes it work. There are rock stars who are secret government agents fighting evil forces, huge robotic monsters, love & romance, global travel, drunken antics, musical intricacies, sweet friendships & even duct tape. And, the great illustrations by Alan Barnes really make the pages pop out at you.
Very talented and creative writer! This book gives a real insider's look of a rock band and is filled with the unexpected. Unusual combination of a rock band, robots, monsters and witches. Great illustrations as well!

Full disclosure first I know Tim Price, but as a monstrously talented, hard-working guitarist who can play anything, and well. I didn't know writing was also a gift. Really enjoyed the book, great characters, engaging plot and overall fun concept. Congrats and well done.

Big In Japan is certainly not my usual literary genre but I picked up my son's book to glance through it. Now most of my work is not completed because I could not put this book down. It is an amazing read with so many surprises. Who would have thought that this combination of characters could work? Thanks Tim Price. I hope there is another book in the works.
